I have had a few emails about some problems with bandbox. Other than Itunes, Amazon MP3 and ordering the physical through Storenvy, I put up the bandbox as a service so that I could get the emails to send out the free TGC album. But half the emails never came and I’m a bit frustrated with the way bandbox is working right now. So I am going to pull it from the page and replace it with the Nimbit box because that has been running very smoothly so far. A few suggestions for alternative services to make our music available were sent my way from fans and I am currently checking into those, thank you. For now we will just have the Nimbit up and then, like I said, the other online options such as Itunes, Amzon etc., are still available.

Also, if anyone internationally ordered the record last week and received a refund, I am terribly sorry about that. There were a few problems with the international section of our Storenvy account but they are all fixed. So if you got refunded and still wish to purchase a physical album, then you can go ahead and reorder.

If you already ordered a physical album, I have been hearing from most that they have received them, that makes me proud cause I literally packed the envelopes and shipped them myself. Anyone who says being in a band is for lazy people is full of it. But if you have not received your physical copy, it should arrive soon, I meet with the post office guys in my hometown movie theater parking lot and put them on the trucks so I am making new friends.

The Gloomcatcher physical is still a few weeks out from being printed so it will be a bit still.

Some of you are unsure of why the physical is missing a song called “Witches Blossom”. The song just so happens to be about the witch in the story. And it just so happens that it didn’t appear on some of the physicals. It went to print and mysteriously a few of them came back without it. Thus making the full album list 28 instead of 29, or the second volume 11 instead of 12. Welcome to the The River Empires, you decided for yourself to enter our world, and confusion is only the beginning. The song, in many ways, has a mind of it’s own. We cannot control it. If you want the song you can download it for free on our myspace on a mystery date that I will reveal in a few days, keep checking back for that date. But I am warning you, the song does what it wants, so download it at your own risk.

Okay, last thing for now. I have had some emails about lyrics. Would everyone want me to post them on the website soon, or wait a few weeks for some illustrations to go along with them? Let me know cause I want to shed light on some of the story yet at the same time I am into the illustration thing cause that’s just rad.

The First Option:
The PHYSICAL ALBUM is available to order online. But only available through the link to theriverempires.storenvy.com that will also be posted on the right hand side of the site where our record cover is.

The price of this album is a bit more expensive because I’m literally shipping them out from my house so I had to buy all the packing supplies. Also the free “The Gloomcatcher” album is NOT available when ordered physically through Storenvy. Sorry about that. But The Gloomcatcher physical album will be for sale through our storenvy sometime in the near future.

The Second Option:
The Gloomcatcher album is ONLY given out as a free download when you DOWNLOAD The River Empires album from our BANDBOX. Which will be posted on our myspace, facebook and website on April 6th. This is a downloadable service that is just the same as itunes, amazonmp3, etc. The River Empires album download only costs $10. When you purchase it, they ask you for your email. I get your emails and then I send you a link with a password that only works once to download The Gloomcatcher album for free. So if you want a ton of music for $10, this is your best bet as far as downloading goes.

The Third Option:
Both The River Empires album and The Gloomcatcher album will be available for sale April 6th on Itunes (US, UK, Canada and Mexico), Amazon Mp3, Emusic, Rhapsody, and a few other music downloading services. All of those companies set their own prices. So if you feel comfortable only buying our album from Itunes, etc., don’t get mad at us if the prices they set are too high. Also the free The Gloomcatcher album is not available when The River Empires album is purchased on one of these services.

The Fourth Option:
This was our way of getting as many people out to shows as possible. At our shows we will have The River Empires physical album, complete with original artwork, for sale for $10. And along with that you get a free physical The Gloomcatcher album.

Hopefully that covers everyones specific needs as to how they can go about getting our music. Sorry if it’s a bit chaotic and all over the map. I would have really liked one place to buy the record but in this crazy marketing system, indie bands have to maneuver around and be a bit creative in selling our music.
